One of the biggest footprints at Comic-Con San Diego 2018, the FX Network Exhibition was a showcase of killer fan engagements for some of the network’s biggest shows. Though I worked on ideation for all of the show activations, I led the AR Eccentricities Collection for American Horror Story while at Creative Riff, which was visited by thousands of press and fans during the 4 days of Comic-Con. From concepting the idea, to researching folklore and ghost stories for each of the 9 installations that were fabricated by hand, to forming the narrative around a cult-like leader, unnamed and unidentified, but able to hold powerful control over the “docents” taking care of the gallery’s artifacts, and those artifact’s spritis that dwelled inside. Copywriting included: original messaging, scripts for actors, social media messaging, and overall narrative.
